   以昆蟲為傳毒介體的病毒病害一直是造成水稻産量損失最嚴重的病毒病害之一。水稻矮縮病毒 (Rice dwarf virus, RDV) 和水稻條紋葉枯病毒 (Rice stripe virus, RSV)是對我國水稻産生過嚴重産量損失的病毒病害。RDV由葉蟬以持久增殖型方式傳播, RSV由灰飛虱以持久方式傳播，且可經卵傳播。迄今，對病毒如何引起病害研究很多，但是，病毒與介體傳毒昆蟲的相互作用研究的很少。本實驗室主要研究方向：1）病毒與植物宿主的相互作用以及病毒侵染對宿主發育的影響和緻病機制；2）植物宿主對病毒的防禦機制與病毒的反防禦機制；3）病毒與傳播介體昆蟲宿主的相互作用以及介體傳播病毒機制；4）病毒對昆蟲介體免疫系統的幹擾和介體的抗病毒免疫機制。
