個人介紹:
朱健教授1994年畢業于英國阿伯丁大學,獲生物化學榮譽學士學位。1998年獲得英國帝國理工學院分子細胞生物學博士學位。之後在美國斯坦福大學醫學院完成博士後訓練。2006年在美國凱斯西儲大學醫學院和克利夫蘭醫學中心建立實驗室,先後任助理教授、副教授。2013年全職回國,現任beat365官方网站教授,北大-清華生命科學聯合中心研究員。朱健教授長期從事在細胞分化、形态建成和成體穩态中起關鍵作用的信号轉導網絡調控機制的研究。以形态建成以及腸道和生殖幹細胞為研究模型,鑒定出多個調控Hedgehog、Hippo、Notch、Wnt等主要發育信号轉導通路的關鍵因子,從多角度和多層次揭示這些發育信号調控幹細胞命運決定與分化、個體發育以及成體穩态維持的分子機制。近年來,通過建立衰老、腫瘤(肝癌和膠質瘤),以及代謝性疾病(脂肪肝和肥胖)果蠅和小鼠模型,系統探究了器官衰老、癌症發生以及代謝性疾病的發病機制和潛在治療手段。朱健教授曾獲得人類前沿科學計劃、英國帝國癌症研究基金會、美國Berry Foundation for Children’s Health、美國心髒協會、NIH R01、自然科學基金面上和重點項目、科技部重大研發等基金資助,美國癌症學會研究學者獎和美國出生缺陷基金會(March of Dimes Foundation) Basil O’Connor 青年學者獎。2017年入選基金委傑出青年科學基金。

我們以小鼠和果蠅作為模式系統,研究發育、衰老和代謝的分子調控機制,以及它們在幹細胞命運決定、形态建成、成體穩态以及營養感知中的關鍵作用。我們的中長期目标是為衰老、腫瘤、代謝異常等相關疾病開發早期診斷策略和相應的藥物靶點。
