摘要：
Mitochondria are dynamic organelles that provide cells with energy and metabolites needed for survival and growth during changes in diet, stress and development. The Haigis lab is focused on identifying new mechanisms within mitochondria that allow cells to adapt to stress. Ultimately, we aim to understand whether these mechanisms contribute to mitochondrial dysfunction in the  context of aging and cancer.
